It has always been my intention to post brief outlines of these tests so that members have the option to roleplay them and can make informed decisions as to which hunting tactics their cats should be applied. However, rather than creating the conditions and tests myself, I thought I would give all of you the opportunity to create the framework for their designs. To make life a little easier, I have provided a list of traits that I believe each type of hunting would require – but please don’t think these are set in stone. If you dislike anything shown below, and think something else would be better, then feel free to let me know.

Cave Hunter
Apprentices should
- Be tolerant of confined spaces
- Be without fear of darkness
- Be relatively sedate cats, or at least capable of following others
Test Conditions / Structure:

Height Hunter
Apprentices should
- Be tolerant of confined spaces
- Have a head for heights
- Be sensible, obedient cats, or at least have sense enough not to take unnecessary risks
Test Conditions / Structure:

Pool Hunter
Apprentices should:
- Be tolerant of, and preferably have a love for, water
- Be quiet, patient cats, or at least be capable of waiting and remaining quiet for long periods of time.

Apprentices should:
- Be unsuitable for any other form of hunting
