I've browsed though the forum and found that this site has a lot of potential to be absolutely awesome. Content-wise, it's just stunning. However, there are a few suggestions I'd like to make as far as layout and aesthetics goes.
- Width: For a roleplay site, it's very hard to move your head side to side to read our rules and mini-novels. I suggest putting the forum at at least 80% its default width, if not less. This will help readers keep their place as they scroll as well as allow their necks a break.
- Side Bars: As much as I love toggles, too many can make a site seem cluttered. I suggest using static side bars for quick information such as Clan stats, season/weather, and spotlights. I would say links as well, but longer lists seem to look better in a long toggle.
- Centering: As stated with the width, centering long bouts of information tends to confuse readers and looks a bit cluttered if long lines are coupled with shorter lines. I suggest using "blockquote" instead. This makes content easier to read and looks more professional.
- Welcome Table: Infinitely more information can be stored in a tabbed welcome table. I suggest using this plugin.
- Boards: A long list of boards can also make a forum seem cluttered. Some may seem more nesessary than they really are and might even be able to be shortened down into one thread. I suggest combining the uses of multiple boards into one and making use of the "sub-sub-board" option.
I really think this site's unique history layout has the potential to rival the more popular warriors boards. I'd like to help it out in any way that I can. I've been an admin and moderator on many sites, so if you'd ever like to call on me for help, I have plenty of experience. Thank you for reading!

Just want to say that it’s something of a first to see someone join a site and immediately post with suggestions to help it improve. I’m somewhat impressed :3
Width: This proven to be one of the more highly ranking items on my list of ‘awkward features’, as it never quite seems to be possible to get forum sizing’s and image sizing’s to play nice. The current site width is just about meeting that requirement, but I’ll be sure to trail some additional widths on my test site as soon as possible. If there’s one thing I’ve learnt, it’s that enough measured tweaking eventually brings a solution. Probably.
Side Bars & Welcome Table: The static vs. tabbed side bar issue has come up in the past, and a previous vote confirmed that the tabbed version was preferred. That said, the welcome table was not available at the time of that vote, and has been on my list of ‘things to test’ for about a week now. I’ll likely trail this when I look into the width, and, depending on the results, put the matter to another vote.
Centering: In retrospect, I have no idea why I didn’t justify the information threads in the first place. I intend to act on this one today. Edit (19th Nov): Information threads justified.
Board: I’ll be reviewing our board structure over the next day or so, to see where such adjustments are logical / necessary. Edit (21st Nov): Boards re-organised.
I’m glad you like what you’ve found so far (particularly in terms of said history layout), and hope we continue to please. I also look forwards to seeing how you contribute to the site and roleplay in future, and will certainly keep you in mind for those moments when help be needed. Thanks for taking the time to offer these suggestions!

No problem at all. I look forward to seeing this site grow and morph into a beautiful butterfly. The more members who help contribute, the better it will get.
